Booking Policy

We understand how important it is to feel confident that your cat will be safe, happy and well cared for while you are away.

All cats must be delivered and collected in a secure, suitable carrier. All bookings are subject to availability. We ask clients to only reserve the space they need, as holding dates unnecessarily can prevent other clients being able to book with us.

 

2. Rates ( As of January 2026)

• 1 cat – £17.00 per night

• 2 cats sharing – £26.00 per night

• 3 cats sharing – £33.00 per night​

 

Charges are calculated per night, with arrival between 4 30 - 5 30pm and departure between 9am - 12pm. If you require an early check in or a late departure this is charged at £8 per session. 

We have a minimum charge of £102.00 per stay.

A deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking.  You then do not need to pay anything until the day before your arrival when you will receive an automatic email requesting the final balance.

All prices are subject to a price increase without prior notice

 

3. Payment Methods

For bookings made less than seven days before arrival, full payment is required. Payment methods accepted:

• Cash

• Most debit and credit cards ( online bookings only )

• Direct bank transfer (Bacs)

All Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations within 14 days of arrival: 50% of the outstanding balance

• Cancellations within 7 days of arrival: 100% of the outstanding balance

• Changes reducing the number of days within 14 days of arrival will be charged in full

• Early collection of a cat during a stay will still be charged the full booking fee.

5. Opening Hours

Opening Hours

• Monday–Saturday: 9:00–12:00 & 16:30 - 17:30pm

• Sundays & Bank Holidays: Closed

 

6. Viewings

Viewings are by appointment only, and we ask a maximum of two people per viewing.

Vaccination Requirements

All cats must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate.  Vaccinations must be completed at least 7 days prior to boarding.

Fleas & Worms

All cats must be treated for fleas and have had a worm treatment from their vets before arrival. We reserve the right to treat any cat found with fleas or worms during their stay; the owner will cover the cost. Flea treatment: £18 per dose. Worm treatment: £15 per dose.

Food & Water
Meals are served twice daily between the hours of 8:00 -9:00 and 17:00 - 18:00 unless otherwise requested. We provide a variety of dry and wet foods but if your cat requires something different from our menu you are welcome to bring their own. Fresh water is always available.

 

Medication

We can administer prescribed medication with clear instructions (we no longer administer injections).

Charges may occur dependent on requirements at £1.50 day.

Illness / Veterinary Care
Cats showing signs of contagious or infectious disease will be refused entry. We reserve the right to consult a veterinary surgeon during a cat’s stay; veterinary fees to be paid by the owner.

Insurance
Purr-fect Place Cattery is fully insured. Full details of cover are available on request.

Disclaimer
While every care is taken, the proprietors will not be held responsible for the loss, death, injury or illness of your cat. Unless owners specifically request separate pens, cats from the same household will share one pen. If any cats sharing a pen show any signs of distress, they will be placed in separate pens and owners will be charged accordingly.

Cats not collected within 14 days of the agreed departure date may be re-homed if no communication from the owner or owners agents are received.
